Mum to a Samaritan

Now on to another subject.

I have recently become “A Mum”.  Last Monday in fact.  My daughter is called Susie, is a 50yr old divorcee and talks, what my Mum would call ‘Very Posh’.

No, I haven’t flipped.  Susie is a Newcomer Samaritan and I am her Mum for the first couple om months.  The idea being she has me by her side each time she does a duty to give her confidence and moral support because when you first start it is difficult to remember everything, whereas your experienced Mum (or Dad) would not be likely to forget.  (If only they knew).

From what I have seen of her so far I think we will get along quite well. She has a sense of humour and, as a good daughter should, she trusts me implicitly.  I only hope I remember to tell he all she needs to know.

Yet another change of subject coming up.
